The Tyfo® Fibrwrap® Systems are installed in severely aggressive marine environments (e.g. ports, wharves, piers, jetties etc.), to prevent loss of strength due to corrosion, erosion and extend the life of the structure.
The Tyfo® Fibrwrap® Systems are designed to regain the capacity of corrosion or erosion damaged structures in and around waterways.
In addition to protecting structural elements and regaining their original strength, the Tyfo® Fibrwrap® Systems may also be designed to increase the original capacity for change-of-use retrofit projects.
The Tyfo® Fibrwrap® Systems, whether wet lay-up or pre-fabricated, are installed on circular, octagonal, rectangular and alternatively shaped cross sections.
The Tyfo® PR Jackets are pre-fabricated using the Tyfo® Fibrwrap® Systems, are thoroughly tested, accepted and installed all around the world. The Tyfo® PR Jackets are composted of:
- Tyfo® SW-1 Epoxy: specially formulated
NSF (ANSI) listed, two-component
epoxy designated for partial or complete
underwater cure. - Tyfo® PR Jackets: pre-fabricated Tyfo®
Fibrwrap® Systems jackets that bond
back onto themselves using Tyfo® SW-1
Epoxy. - Tyfo® PR Grouts: Fyfe Co. LLC offers both
cementitious and epoxy based grout for
the Tyfo® PR jacketing system.
